| Pablo Picasso - Guernica |
To him we owe the precepts of an artistic revolution, the chance of a new male geometry, the formal religious arrogance of atheism, the "do against" the thrust of an unrestrained intercourse with the information. With him, we gave up the dream to be an artist to painfully learn to draw like children, to see with eyes wide open, staring at times but not entirely devoid of innocence. To him we owe the most striking judgments about art, still way off. All tried and location; insatiable Argonaut, snatched the golden fleece from the garden sublime art to make sturdy shoes with limestone in the impossible. He has produced work of genius with mediocrity and ugliness, all cemented by a personality that was able to build over a imperishable monument.
E 'was he the first "murderess of Painting," but there has bequeathed a thousand paintings, a thousand sketches bustling, thousand icons alienating false gods. Ultimately, his art has attempted to escape the laity in the death, and I must say that unfortunately we failed. In the sense that to overcome it, to proceed further, it was dramatically difficult and in some ways still uncertain.
